The DAIRYLAND PROTEIN SALE (Featuring the RNS Herd Dispersal) catalog can now be viewed online! Feel free to view, download and print this catalog and to contact sale staff with your interest in any consignments!

This production based sale will be the second Jersey sale during a week filled with dairy enthusiasts focused on Wisconsin! Be sure to schedule time to attend the Dairyland Protein Sale on October 2 in Janesville, Wis. at the Rock County Fairgrounds. The sale begins at 11:00 a.m. (CDT).

Watch for the Top of the World Catalog to be released online SOON! The Top of the World Sale begins at 7:00 p.m. (CDT) or after the Jersey heifer show on Tuesday, September 30 at World Dairy Expo in Madison, Wis. The Jersey cow show resumes the next morning and the Dairyland Protein Sale will be on Thursday, October 1, in nearby Janesville, Wis. Make plans for all the Jersey events during the biggest dairy week in Wisconsin!

All American and Pot O’Gold Consignments

While you are browsing throughout the Mid-Atlantic Fall Jersey Classic Sale catalog online, and watching for the upcoming Top of the World, Dairyland Protein and Sorenson Milking Herd Reduction Sale catalogs, be sure that you have looked through your Jersey genetics and submitted your consignment to the All American and / or Pot O’Gold Sales.

All Pot O’Gold consignments must be genomic tested. This is a sale geared toward Jersey youth and is a production based contest. Commission for this sale is 25%, with 17% of the gross sale set aside for in the Pot O’Gold fund to be awarded in 2018. Upon completion of her first lactation, these heifers will be ranked by determining adjusted records for age and month of calving, then applying the USDA component values for Net Merit dollars.

The All American sale features the best the breed has to offer through type, show, genomics, and deep family influence. Many of the best have sold through the history of this prestigious sale. Commission on this event is 20%, helping to fund the All American Show, the biggest Jersey event of the year.

The Craig Rhein Family of Meadow View Farm, Pine Grove, PA, have graciously opened their farm to host the over 300 head sale. Sale day is Friday, September 18 at 11:00 a.m. A roast beef and ham dinner will be served during the sale, sponsored by Fisher and Thompson.

Over 300 head will go through the ring, featuring milk cows, springers, bred heifers down to young calves.
