This year’s sale of the southeast will be on FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 15, 2017 at the home of Her-Man Jerseys and Sunny Day Farm in Chester, S.C.
The event will feature sale cattle of all ages in a tie-up and in a commercial format. It will also be broadcast on JerseyAuctionLive.com. Several consignments are genomic tested and some boast of JPI’s over 170. Many have deep family pedigrees, and others are bred to start working right after the sale. Cataloging for the Southeast Jersey Invitational (formerly Dixie Invitational) will begin on THURSDAY, August 10. Consignments, especially any for the tie-up portion, must be turned in promptly. In this year’s sale, we will be having a tie-up portion featuring approximately 30 head of high quality show prospects and genomic animals. The other portion of the sale will be commercial cattle that will be housed as we have done in the past. Milk cows will be in one group and the heifers divided and housed by age and pregnancy status.
