JMS and the Buckeye Dairy Club are working together again this year to bring you great consignments in the Buckeye Classic Spring Jersey Sale, held in conjunction with Spring Dairy Expo. The sale will be on Thursday, March 29 at 12:30 p.m. (EDT), and all animals are entered in the show the next day. We are also taking consignment nominations for National Heifer Sale, to be held in conjunction with the AJCA-NAJ Annual Meetings / 150th Anniversary and the World Conference. The meetings will be in Canton, Ohio and the sale will be nearby on THURSDAY, JUNE 26 @ 7:00 p.m. (EDT).Heifers will be on site and will be sold through the sale ring.

The 60th Pot O’Gold Sale was held on Saturday evening, November 4, in Louisville, Ky., as part of the All American Junior Jersey Show activities. A huge thanks to Cow’s Match Jersey Blend, Land O’Lakes Animal Milk Products for continuing to support our Jersey youth!
A great night of family bonding and new and seasoned Jersey youth experiencing the thrill of a sale, 32 genomic tested heifers paraded through the ring at the Pot O’Gold Sale. They averaged $2959.
Top selling heifer was consigned by Her-Man Jerseys and Sunny Day Farm, Chester, S.C. Lot 136 is Her-Man/SDF Balin Beck-P, selling for $7500 to Camille Herrera of Hilmar, Ca.
Second high selling heifer, and another exchange of coasts, was Lot 107, Primus Kwynn Haven-ET. She was consigned by Jerseyland Sires, Turlock, Ca., and was purchased by Lydia Chittenden, Schodack Landing, N.Y., for $5200.

The 65th All American Sale will be held on Sunday, November 5, 2017, 4:30 p.m. (EST) in Louisville, Ky. The event is part of the three-day celebration of Jerseys at the All American Jersey Show, starting with the Junior show, banquet and Pot O’Gold Sales today.
The All American Sale showcases genetics for all herd types. From the show ring to the milk tank, from genomics to 4-H project and herd building calves, all experienced and aspiring Jersey breeders can bid on some of the best the breed has to offer.

JMS Staff and members of the AJCA-NAJ team who are at the show can help with more pictures and any questions you may have on a specific consignment. The 60th Pot O’Gold Sale will take place in Louisville, Ky., on Saturday, November 4 at 4:30 p.m. (EDT). The event is a part of the many Junior Jersey Breeder events taking place at the All American Jersey Show that day. This year’s sale is presented by Cow’s Match Jersey Blend, Land O’Lakes Animal Milk Products Co., and will take place in the Newmarket Hall location. The sale will also be broadcast on JerseyAuctionLive.com for LIVE viewing and bidding.
RULES for the sale: Because the Pot O’Gold Sale is a Junior Jersey Breeder event, there are a few rules for purchasing. The full list can be seen in the 2017 POG Catalog.
Animals in the Pot O’Gold Sale can only be purchased by juniors between the ages of 7 and 20 (inclusive) on January 1 of the sale year, who reside in the United States or Canada. A junior may only purchase one POG calf per contest year.
This is a production contest, and the awards for the 2017 Pot O’Gold Sale will be presented in 2020. Again, information on records and testing eligibility are in the 2017 POG Catalog
