The 60th Pot O’Gold Sale will be held in Newmarket Hall, Kentucky Expo Center, in Louisville, Ky. This sale boasts of all genomic tested heifers, for ONLY Junior Jersey Breeders to purchase! Many good herds and great breeders started with investments from this production based sale, with great type and cow families represented as well. Browse / print / request a catalog HERE.

The 2017 All American Sale is the 65th anniversary for the prestigious event, held during the All American Jersey Show events and festivities in Louisville, Ky. The sale is Sunday, November 5, 4:30 p.m. (EST) and is in the West Hall of the Kentucky Expo Center. As tradition shows, cow families, great type, notable production, and everything every Jersey breeder could want is part of this sale!

Dairyland Protein Sale Concludes

The Dairyland Protein Sale was held in Janesville, Wis., on October 6, 2017.  A group of milk cows, dry cows and bred heifer, totaling 69 head, averaged $2,087.

Buyers hailed from CA, KS, MI, TX, WI and Canada, with Adrie Vanderjagt, Tx., as the volume buyer with 27 head.

Ryan Gartman, Cedar Grove, Wis., bought the high selling lot of the sale, Lot 31. JX Heartland Stormy Tamira {5}-ET was consigned by Duane & Debra Phillips of Golden, Ill., and sold for $3,050.

 

Top of the World Jersey Sale Finishes

The Top of the World Jersey Sale was held on October 4 in Madison, Wis., as part of the World Dairy Expo Jersey activities. With semen and a choice, 37 lots sold for an average of $2886.

The high selling heifer, Lot 25, is Intense Gentry Priceless, the 2nd place Senior Yearling in the 2017 International Jersey Show. Consigned by Clark Valley and Tim Natzke, Wis., she sold to Pacific Ridge, Brent Rocha, Ore., for $7,200.

Lots B and C from Matthew Steiner, Ohio, sold to Vierra Dairy Farms, Hilmar, Calif., for $6,200 and $5,750 respectively. This makes them second and third high selling lots of the sale.

A big thank you to the consignors to the 2017 Top of the World Sale, along with the bidders and buyers. Best of luck on all your purchases!

The Top of the World Jersey Sale is on Wednesday evening, 4:00 p.m. (CDT) in the Estrumate Sale Pavilion, as part of the World Dairy Expo Jersey festivities in Madison, Wis. The Udder shot gallery was taken with the cows full of milk, while the side shot gallery of pictures were taken this morning, with udders not as full.

The two dry cows, Lots 33 and 36, are also in this slide show gallery.
