New York Next Generation Sale Concludes

The Steuben County Fairgrounds was the site of today’s New York Next Generation Sale, held with live animals on site and cattle selling online, in groups from their home location. A total of 99 head sold, with a $938 average.

Top seller was Lot 1, at $3500. She was consigned by Underground Genetics and sold to Jack Button, both of NY.

The second high seller will also make her new home with buyer Jack Button. She sold for $3150 and was consigned by Tyler Herrington, NY.

The volume buyer was Emerling Farm, NY. Cattle sold to NY, OH, PA, and TN.

The New York Next Generation Sale will be at the Steuben County Fairgrounds, Bath, N.Y., on Saturday, May 5. The sale will have online, live broadcast and bidding of the sale on JerseyAuctionLive.com. The pre-bidding portion, group lot, portion of the sale will end bidding at 10:00 a.m. at www.jerseybid.com. Any lots carrying a bid will then begin at that amount in the live sale that begins at 11:00 a.m. Only lots carrying bids in the online pre-sale will move to the live sale.

Kentucky National Jersey Sale – GROUP LOTS

The Kentucky National Jersey Show and Sale is in its 56th year, and will be in Louisville, Kentucky, again this year. There is a change to the date and time!

Show and Sale day is THURSDAY, APRIL 5, with the show beginning at 1:00 p.m. and the sale at 3:00 p.m. (EDT).

In addition to the anticipated 50+ head in the show and sale, we also have five lots of 5 or 6 bred heifers, due anywhere from April to July. The lots must meet their minimum bids in order to move to the live sale for final bidding.

Kentucky National Jersey Sale

In its 56th year of tradition, the Kentucky National Jersey Show and Sale series will be held at the Kentucky Expo Center in Louisville, Ky. The date and time have been changed from previous years, with the Jersey sale cattle being highlighted on THURSDAY, APRIL 5. The show will begin at 1:00 p.m. and the sale will kick off at 3:00 p.m. (EDT). The sale will be in New Market Hall and on JerseyAuctionLive.com.

The KY National Catalog features over 50 lots of open heifers, bred heifers and cows, boasting of show pedigrees and type and milk production. Several are close in calf, offering a “2 for 1” deal! There are currently three group lots of bred heifers that will begin their bidding process on JerseyBid.com, with final bidding as part of the live sale.
