The Pot O’Gold Sale is part of a day devoted to Jersey youth during All American activities in Louisville, Ky. Held in Newmarket Hall at 4:30 p.m. (EST), the Pot O’Gold is a production contest sale for junior Jersey breeders between the ages of 7 and 20 on January 1.

The All American Sale is part of the weekend of Jersey events at NAILE, Louisville, Ky., and will be held in the West Sale Hall, November 7, 2015 at 4:30 p.m. (EST).
Also selling are the All American Bull Syndicates, both to be sampled by Select Sires, Inc.

The Jerseyland California Gold Sale, held in Hilmar, Calif., on October 24, was a combination online and live sale. Final live bidding was hosted by Hilmar Cheese Co., with a small crowd in the room, on phones and on live internet bid feed.
A total of 424 head of milk cows and springers sold in 17 minutes with an average of $2160.73. There were a total of six buyers.
Through the generous and quality consignments of Sunwest Jersey Dairy and related parties, Charles Ahlem Ranch, Fanelli Dairy, Wickstrom Bros., Wickstrom Jersey Farms, Inc., Jim Schroer, James Ahlem Dairy, Ahlem Farms Partnership, Red Top Jerseys and Nyman Bros., the California Gold Sale has about 400 head of springing heifers and young milk cows available.

Only lots carrying at least one bid in the online sale will be able to move to the live portion of the event.

A chill in the air reminded attendees of the Ohio Fall Production Sale in Wooster, Ohio, that it is fall! 163 head of milk cows, bred heifers, open heifers and bulls went through the sale ring at the Wayne County Fairgrounds, averaging $1,554.51.
Lot 8 topped the sale for $2700. Grammer Pine-Tree Topeka Sarah was a third trimester heifer consigned by Matthew Steiner, Marshallville, OH and purchased by Craig Fortner, OH.
Three lots ties for second top sellers at $2,600 each.

Adrie Vanderjagt of Texas was the volume buyer of the day, with 54 head.
There were 24 total buyers at the sale, most of whom are from Ohio.
