The embryos from F&W Magnum Baby Ruth, VG-81 have been lowered to a reserve price of $150 an embryo!!
Each of the lots have 5 embryos. Lot 1 is sired by CRF Legal Promise, 203JE1347 and Lot 2 is sired by Sugar Grove Valentino Axis, 7JE1274.


December’s Jersey Bid monthly consignment auction will be online for bidding from the 8th to the 16th.

Consignments of all kinds can be turned in between now and December 12.

All American Sale Sets New Average High

AA POG BannerThe All American Sale, held this evening in Louisville, KY, set a series average high record. Including the two syndicated bulls, the average for the event was $11,728!
Counting only the 43 live lots, choices and embryos, the average was $8,436.63.

A great crowd in the sale arena and online helped to raise the prices to this memorable level.

The high selling female was the second high in the All American series at $34,500.

LOT 4 - AHLEM VOLCANO BUTTONS 42731 - was the second high lot of the 2014 All American Sale. For $30,000, she will travel to River Valley Farm, Tremont, IL and hailed from William Ahlem, Jr.'s herd in Hilmar, CA.

Fun had at the Pot O’Gold Sale

AA POG BannerA fun, eventful Pot O’Gold sale was held this evening, for Junior Jersey Breeders to buy production based heifers to start or expand their herds at home. Any youth, between the ages of 7 and 20 at the start of this year, were able to buy, entering in the contest. 17% of the gross sales will be set aside in a Pot O’Gold Fund, providing cash awards for the owners of 22 calves that complete the highest records ranked by total product value.

32 head were sold in this year’s sale, for an average of $4606.25.

The top-selling heifer was $12,500.

POG LOT 17 – SCHIRM PLUS SATURN was the top-selling lot in the Pot O’Gold sale. The November 2013 heifer has a GJPI of +247 and is sired by Sweetie Plus Iatola Bold, 1JE711. She was serviced to Schultz Volcano Harris, 29JE3866. Paul Schirm, West Salem, OH was the consignor and McCallister Russell, Hilmar, CA was the buyer.
POG LOT 25 - JCJ MARVEL 29587 brought $7000. The December 2013 All Lynns Valentino Marvel, 11JE1118 daughter has a GJPI of +216 and a GJUI of +8.01. She sold to Lowell Chamberlain of Wyoming, NY and was consigned by James Ahlem, Hilmar, CA.
