The Ohio Spring Classic Sale was held today at the Shelby County Fairgrounds in Sidney, Ohio. JMS hosted the sale in conjunction with the Ohio Jersey Breeders Association. The sale average, on 70 lots of embryos, semen and cattle, was $2,521.80.

With a final bid of $5,100, Phil Gordon, Ind., was the final buyer.LOT 60 – NORSE STAR TOPEKA MIDNIGHT-ET, VG-87%. This 12/2012 genomic tested “Topeka” daughter was fresh in December and was served to “Citation A.” Consigned by International Genetics, Collingwood, Ontario, Canada, she sold to Steve Rowley, Miss., for $4,900

It’s sale day at the Ohio Spring Classic Sale, held at the Shelby County Fairgrounds in Sidney, Ohio. Sale time is 11:00 a.m. (EDT) A great group of type, production, genomics, and cow families are all represented.
