The Dixie Invitational Sale will be held in Newberry, SC, at Bush River Jerseys. Friday morning, September 9, at 11:00 am, Jerseys from around the southeast will begin entering the sale ring. The sale will also be broadcast for Live Bidding on JerseyAuctionLive.com.
Some consignments are selling as virtual group lots on the online sale host site, JerseyBid.com. They are currently housed in Tennessee.
A group of 12 bred heifers are available, none of which are Official Calfhood Vaccinates (OCV), which does not allow for trucking west of the Rockies. The group can be viewed on this VIDEO. The heifers are 2014, 2015 birth dates and are due in November and December.
Multiple groups of bred heifers WITH OCV designations are also selling via the online sale site. The entire group can be viewed on this VIDEO. Also 2014, 2015 aged heifers, these 5 groups range in due dates between November and January.
Bidding on these lots is a per head price and their minimum bid MUST be met BEFORE 10:00 am on Friday to move to the live sale for continued bidding action.
