The Johnny, Warren and Henry Gaby families will be selling their milking herd and bred heifers at their farm in Greeneville, Tenn., on December 15. Cow families who have been developed at the Gaby Jersey Farm and have gone on to do well for so many other breeders and dairymen will sell.

The sale will consist of just short of 180 head, who will start through the auction ring at 10:00 a.m. December 15. The sale will also be broadcast for live streaming and online bidding at JerseyAuctionLive.com.

Bush River Jerseys Complete Dispersal

Bush River Jerseys will be selling their complete herd of Jerseys on December 8 and 9 at the farm in Newberry, S.C. A select group from Skip-A-Rilla Jerseys will also be included in the sale.

Over 500 head of cows, bred heifers and young calves (down to infants) will be sold in this two day event. Several different aged bulls are available for sale, but will not be included in the live auction.

Thursday, December 8 – Sale time 10:00 a.m. – Cows selling and dinner provided after the sale

Friday, December 9 – Sale time 10:00 a.m.Select cows and heifers will begin the day, followed by all remaining heifers and calves.

Clover Patch Cornucopia II Sale – Conclusion

cowsThe Clover Patch Cornucopia II Sale was held on a gorgeous, sunny and warm day in mid-November! A total of 129 head of milking and dry cows, bred and open heifers went through the ring on November 18 for an average of $1584.50.

A great crowd was in attendance at the farm of Alan and Sharon Kozak, in Millersburg, Ohio. There were close to 18 different buyers from Michigan, New York, Ohio, Texas, West Virginia, Wisconsin and Virginia, as well as from Canada.

The high selling lot was 3034, Clover Patch Nitro Spiral. Due at the end of November, this bred heifer sold to Chris and Brittany Davis of Kingston, Ohio.

Second high seller was 3168, Clover Patch Bullistic Babydoll, a bred heifer due in March. She sold to Sarbek Farm, Killbuck, Ohio, for $2,400.

The Kozak family and JMS thank the buyers and the bidders of today’s sale and wish you continued luck with your purchases!

The Alan and Sharon Kozak family have too many Jerseys! They are selling close to 150 head of ALL genomic tested, mostly A2A2 designated cattle. Many are milking, a handful of dry cows, as well as a small amount of young, bred and springing heifers.

  • Fecal Tested Negative for Johnes for 10 years
  • ALL cattle are genomic tested
  • MANY are A2A2 designated

Herd Health Program at Clover Patch:

  • At Birth: Ecolizer +C, BoSe, Vitamins
  • Weaning: Inforce, Clostridium with booster 2 to 4 weeks later
  • Four to six months: Brucellosis, Bovi-Shield Modified live w/ Lepto hardjo boostered 4 to 6 weeks and prebreeding
  • Adults: Bovi-Shield, Scourguard 4KC, Salmonella
  • All cows dried off, and heifers precalving are given dry treat treatments and Orbaseal
  • Feet are trimmed on all heifers prior to calving. Adult cows as needed, at minimum annually
  • Safeguard used routinely to deworm cattle of all ages
