The online portion of the Jerseyland California Gold Sale – June Edition  is open for bidding, and will close at 10:30 a.m. (PDT), June 6, 2016. LIVE BIDDING will then start, at 11:00 a.m. in Hilmar, Calif., at Hilmar Cheese Co. AND online at Jersey Auction Live! The live bidding will start at the last bid received online.

ONLY LOTS WITH BIDS WILL MOVE TO THE LIVE SALE.

Lots with no bids at 10:30 a.m. (PDT) on June 6, 2016 are considered a no-sale.

Prairieland Production Sale Concludes

Prairieland BannerOn a not so spring feeling day, buyers huddled together at the Fayette County Fairgrounds in West Union, Iowa for the Prairieland Production Sale. 85 head of milk cows, bred heifers and a baby calf sold to 13 buyers from five states for an average of $1760.88.

The high selling lot was from Ted Dement, Ill. Lot 93 – Dements Fire Pam sold to Doug Fairbanks, Iowa for $2600. Lot 38, from the Kunde family also sold to Doug Fairbanks. Kunde Plus Maci{6} sold for $2400.

Three head sold for $2300, including Lots 76, 84 and 101. Hei-Bri Perform Daffy{5} (Lot 76) was consigned by Brian & Heidi Lantzky, Iowa, and purchased by Jim Herr, Minn. Lot 84 was also from Brian & Heidi, Hei-Bri Legal Dayleo, selling to Doug Fairbanks. Doug bought Lot 101, Kilgus Iatola Lisa, consigned by Kilgus Dairy, Ill.
