The sale animals are arriving at the Western National Sale in Puyallup, WA and we are looking at a great line-up. Pictures will come as the cattle are clipped, washed and looking their best today and tomorrow.

We have a milking Jr 2-year-old (Lot 25) from Hawarden Jerseys who is not only eligible to be shown on Saturday morning, but has the look to be competitive!

Lot 12 has new AI Interest from Semex. She is an October 2012 Marvel daughter from Desert Park Jerseys with a 195 GJPI.

Lot 27 is a second choice female by Tower Vue Prime Tequila-ET and out of Lady-Lane CVE Kassie. “Kassie” is E-93% and has a 4-3 305 record of 20,710 3.4 709 3.2 659. She was 2nd in the 2011 Western National Futurity. This choice is offered to the sale from Garry Hansen, OR.
Lot 28 is from Ron and Christy Ratliff, KS – a first choice female sired by Lester Sambo and out of Ratliff F Prize Kansas-ET. “Kansas” is E-95% with records over 20,000M and over 1000F. She was the Best Bred and Owned Sr. 3-Year-Old at the 2005 All American Show and 3rd Place in the 2005 National Jersey Jug Futurity.

The Bill Grammer Family will be hosting a sale on September 14 at 11:00 a.m. at their farm near Sebring, OH. In addition to about 130 of cows, bred heifers and breeding age youngstock, a few of Grammer’s friends will be participating in the sale with consignments of the same ages, including young calves.

Around 180 lots are planning to be broadcast LIVE on Jersey Auction Live for buyers and interested parties who cannot attend the sale in person. Stay tuned for more updates!

Dixie Invitational Sale Wrap-up

The Dixie Invitational Sale was once again hosted on a hot and steamy South Carolina Day! The Bush River Jersey family, Newberry, SC was the gracious host for this southern production sale that annually kicks off the fall JMS sale season.

 A total of 202 lots sold in today’s sale to 26 different buyers, including five lots who started their bidding on the Jersey Bid program. The average was $1,161.41. The sale was also broadcast LIVE on Jersey Auction Live and 11 lots were sold to five different internet bidders.

The high selling lot was 207J – from Lylestanley Trace LLC and Gaby Jersey Partnership. The January 2013 heifer with a GJPI of 180 sold with AI interest. Heartland Jerseys, Seneca, KS purchased Lylestanley Chronicl Tender 1514-ET for $4700.

Second top seller was Lot 206J from the Choice of 204J, 205J and 206J. Piedmont Valentino Deb-P is from the Corey Lutz, NC herd and is a December 2012 heifer that ranks 36th in the nation for GJPI among polled females with GJPI 172. She sold to Multi Rose Jerseys, IA for $3,750.

Shot of Nat LLC, SC. purchased the next two top sellers, 200J ($3,050) and 204J ($2,800). 200J was from the Choice of 200 and 201, a “Premier” daughter with a GJPI of 170. She was consigned by Kevin Lutz, NC. The 204 Lot was a second choice from 204, 205, and 206 offered at the spur of the moment by consignor Corey Lutz, NC. The “Premier” daughter was born August 2012 and has a GJPI of 167.

The next sale of the year is the Western National Sale – September 6 at 7:00 p.m. (PDT) in Puyallup, WA. This sale will also be broadcast LIVE on Jersey Auction Live. Check out the JMS Calendar for a sale near you as the JMS sale season heats up!

A group of genomic choices, genomic individuals and exportable embryos are being offered on Jersey Bid for bidding currently as part of the Dixie Invitational, and will be available to be bid on up to 10:45 a.m. (EST) Saturday, August 31, 2013.
At that time the bidding on Jersey Bid will cease and the ending bid will carry over into the LIVE Dixie Invitational Sale as the starting bid for live bidding action.
The Dixie Invitational Sale will begin at 11:00 a.m. (EST), starting with any lots from Jersey Bid carrying bids. To begin the sale, Jersey Bid consignments will be offered to the Jersey Auction Live attendees and the sale audience in Newberry, SC for a final live bidding process. The quick, live, final bidding will begin where the Jersey Bid auction bids left off.
** ANY CONSIGNMENTS FROM JERSEY BID WITHOUT A BID AT 10:45 A.M. SATURDAY WILL BE CONSIDERED A NO SALE AND WILL NOT BE OFFERED FOR LIVE BIDDING. **
The Dixie Invitational Sale will continue on with the live consignments immediately following the conclusion of live final bidding on the Jersey Bid lots.

Please remember – due to a programming issue all previous Jersey Bid bidder information was lost. Please re-register NOW to bid on the 7 lots on Jersey Bid / Dixie Invitational.

Jersey Auction Live has a different bidder system – so you must be registered separately to participate in the LIVE broadcast and bidding for the Dixie Invitational.
