The sale will begin with a week of pre-bidding for group lots on JerseyBid.com. All lots carrying at least one bid will be moved to the LIVE sale on Saturday, beginning at 11:00 a.m. (EDT) in Bath, N.Y. Online lots without a bid will not sell. ONLINE BIDDING ENDS AT 10:00 a.m. (EDT) on April 2, 2015.

The Kentucky National Jersey Sale concluded today with a $2261 average on 58 lots, including three group lots of bred heifers and four embryo lots.

Top Selling Lot 44 was also the Grand Champion of the Kentucky National Show and Sale today.

Lot 44 – Joeleebeth Nevada Karmel, E-91% was Grand Champion of the show today and also the high selling lot in the sale for $6500. “Karmel” is a 5-year-old, served to “Colton” for a December calf. Consigned by Brian Call, South Carleston, Ohio, she sold after heavy bidding in the audience and on the internet. The buyer is Jason Nagel, Panama, N.Y.

Lot 25 – Harmony Corners Fanthom, was consigned by Harmony Corners Jerseys, Hamburg, Minn. The “Hired Gun” 2-year-old is due in May to “Topeka.” She was purchased by Express, Stan-Mar-Dale, and Morgan Jerseys, Urbana, Ohio, for $4250.
