The Kentucky National Jersey Sale concluded today with a $2261 average on 58 lots, including three group lots of bred heifers and four embryo lots.

Lot 44 – Joeleebeth Nevada Karmel, E-91% was Grand Champion of the show today and also the high selling lot in the sale for $6500. “Karmel” is a 5-year-old, served to “Colton” for a December calf. Consigned by Brian Call, South Carleston, Ohio, she sold after heavy bidding in the audience and on the internet. The buyer is Jason Nagel, Panama, N.Y.

Lot 25 – Harmony Corners Fanthom, was consigned by Harmony Corners Jerseys, Hamburg, Minn. The “Hired Gun” 2-year-old is due in May to “Topeka.” She was purchased by Express, Stan-Mar-Dale, and Morgan Jerseys, Urbana, Ohio, for $4250.
