ANNOUNCING: Glenview Dispersal

Jersey Marketing Service will be managing the dispersal of the Dillon Cotter / Glenview herd in Fairhope, Pa. The complete dispersal, cows down to young calves, will take place on FRIDAY, JANUARY 29, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. (EST). The sale will be at the farm and will be broadcast on JerseyAuctionLive.com for live viewing and bidding.

Glenview’s prefix has been on several high type, show ring successful animals, including Glenview Tequila Ava, VG-88% and Glenview Tequila Fawn, VG-89%. Production is also in the cow families.

All American Sale – Finale

AA POG BannerThe All American Sale is one of the most looked forward to sales of the year for Jersey breeders and this year lived up to that hype. A total of 51 lots, including two syndicated bulls, helped the sale average $8,818.

Lot 4 - Dutch Hollow Mackenzie Colina-ET was the top selling female in tonight's sale. Consigned by NY breeders, the Chittenden family, "Colina" was purchased by Prometedor Genetics, CA for $35,000

Lot 2 was the third high selling females, Ahlem Harris Princess 45468{5}-ET. Alta Genetics, Canada, added her to their female procurement roster.

Cows Match BannerThe 2015 Pot O’Gold sale was held the evening of November 7, as part of the Jersey youth activities at the All American Jersey show. A total of 33 head were sold to Junior Jersey breeders, averaging $4,487.

Lot 105, River Valley Mgapwr Koretta 1233-ET was tied for top selling lot of the Pot O'Gold Sale. Jillian Swafford, GA purchased "Koretta" from River Valley Farm, IL for $7,500.
