In a quick paced pen lot format sale, the California Gold Sale concluded today. The sale sold all 185 head consigned in 11 lots, for an average of $2,216 in under 15 minutes. The sale began in an online sale format on JerseyBid.com and concluded live at Hilmar Cheese Company in Hilmar, Calif. and on the live bidding service, JerseyAuctionLive.com
Curtimade Dairy Inc., Tulare, Calif., was the volume buyer of the day with 93 head bought with the live internet bidding service.
The high selling pen lot was Lot 2 – 22 1st lactation cows from Jim Ahlem Dairy, Hilmar, Calif. They sold for $2375 per head and were bought by Eddy Mendes, Lemoore, Calif.

The LIVE auction will start at the last bid placed on each lot at the 2:00 conclusion. All bidding is price per head. ALL LOTS HAD BIDS, so all will move into the live sale conclusion.
