We are excited to announce that the E.V. Smith Dairy Complete Dispersal will be available for live bidding on the Jersey Auction Live program. We are planning on a live broadcast, but if the internet quality does not support that at sale time, will resort to the still picture / live audio / live bidding method.

There are about 120 head selling in the Complete Dispersal. About 57 Milk Cows, 4 Dry Cows, 2 3rd Trimester Heifers, 8 2nd Trimester Heifers, 5 1st Trimester Heifers and 5 Heifers with breeding to close to call with pregnancy. The balance will be open heifers and a bull calf.

The cattle are almost all in at the fairgrounds in Sidney, Ohio. Videos and pictures will start being posted this evening at chore time and continue throughout the remainder of the week. Quality is evident in all age groups, ranging from March 2014 calves to Milking and Dry Cows. The New York Next Generation Sale is underway! Part of the consignments are currently available for bidding on Jersey Bid and the 30 head at the fairgrounds are clipped and ready for the sale on Friday night, May 9, at 5:00 p.m. (EST). The sale will be held at the Steuben County Fairgrounds in Bath, NY.

The sale will also be broadcast LIVE on Jersey Auction Live.

Be sure to bid if you are interested in any of the lots, because ONLY LOTS WITH BIDS will be offered in the LIVE sale on Friday Night. Bidding online will close at 4:30 p.m. The New York Next Generation will kick off with the on-site consignments at 5:00 p.m. and finish with the qualifying lots from the online portion of the auction.
