Northeast Breeders Sale
The Northeast Jersey Classic & Breeders Sale catalog is online for you to view, download, and print. Join JMS and the Northeast Jersey Breeders in Rutland, Vt., at the Vermont State Fairgrounds on April 25, 2015 starting at 11:00 a.m. (EDT), beginning with a select group of tie-up animals. The lots in loose housing will follow.

The sale is sponsored by the New England Jersey Breeders Association and the Vermont Jersey Breeders Association.

Kentucky National Jersey Sale Concludes

The Kentucky National Jersey Sale concluded today with a $2261 average on 58 lots, including three group lots of bred heifers and four embryo lots.

Top Selling Lot 44 was also the Grand Champion of the Kentucky National Show and Sale today.

Lot 44 – Joeleebeth Nevada Karmel, E-91% was Grand Champion of the show today and also the high selling lot in the sale for $6500. “Karmel” is a 5-year-old, served to “Colton” for a December calf. Consigned by Brian Call, South Carleston, Ohio, she sold after heavy bidding in the audience and on the internet. The buyer is Jason Nagel, Panama, N.Y.

Lot 25 – Harmony Corners Fanthom, was consigned by Harmony Corners Jerseys, Hamburg, Minn. The “Hired Gun” 2-year-old is due in May to “Topeka.” She was purchased by Express, Stan-Mar-Dale, and Morgan Jerseys, Urbana, Ohio, for $4250.
