On a great weather day in Sugarcreek, OH the Dean Putt family saw their Jersey herd be dispersed to 38 different buyers from five different states. The sale averaged $1400.99 on 151 head, including the 15 guest consignments.

Top Selling individual was Lot 1178, a BHF-SSF Parade Louie daughter due in December to Eclipses-P. She sold for $2500 to Sam Bok, OH

Second High sellers were Lots 28, 810.
Lot 28 – A VG-86% “Seize The Moment” 2-Year-Old, Fresh in September 2012 and Due back in September 2013 to “TBone Polo”. She was purchased by Gary Coppersmith, OH for $2450.
Lot 810 – is an E-90% “Legionaire” 5-Year-Old Fresh December 2012 and due in November to “Dignitary”. She made 65 lbs on her May test. Rohrer Farms Inc, OH purchased her for $2450.

The first Prairieland Production Sale was held in West Union, IA on Friday, June 7, 2013. 115 Head of cows, bred heifers and some open heifers sold for an average of $1,309. Doug and Abby Fairbanks, IA purchased the top seller of the sale, a nice young milk cow, for $2,700. She was consigned to the sale by David Beechy, KS. Derek Orth, WI purchased a beautiful uddered polled cow from Walter Mill, MN for $2,100.
