The Holiday Spectacular has closed bidding. The sale was hosted by the online Jersey Bid program through JMS. A total of 17 of the 31 lots had bidding and were sold on this yearly sale for an overall average of $4,147.06.

The high selling lot was Lot 1 – Dupat Marvel 1566. This April 2013 “Marvel” daughter was consigned by Wickstrom Jersey Farms, Inc., Hilmar, CA and was purchased for $12,300 by Sexing Technologies, TX. The second top lot was Lot 2 – Ahlem Plus Mindy 41902-ET. She is a “Plus” daughter, born in May 2013, and consigned by Bill Ahlem, Jr. Genex was the buyer for $10,000.
Getting the third top spot was Lot 25 – Orthridge Da bomb Violet-P, a September, 2013 daughter of “Da Bomb”. She was consigned by Matthew Steiner, OH and purchased by Genex for $7600. Lot 3 – the fourth high seller – PTJ Samson Whisper, a daughter of “Samson” and the 2013 Jr. All American Premier Performance Cow. This September heifer sold for $6,300 to Natalie Kessenich, WI and was consigned by Paul Graybill and Trent Kilgus, IL. Fifth was the Choice of Heifer Inventory at Oomsdale Farm, NY, (Lot 6) selling for $5,400 to Wakker Dairy, WI. Rounding out the top six was Lot 4 – All Lynns Critic Vamp-P-ET at $5,100. Consigned by David Allen, WI, this “Critic-P” August calf will have a new home with Sexing Technologies, TX.

NO listing fee (The 3% commission on minimum bid amounts is what we have been calling the Listing Fee. In this sale, it will not apply.)
Reasonable listing fees are always allowed, but of course we can always have the lot listed as an “absolute” sale. This would mean that no minimum bid is listed and the lot sells for whatever the buyers / bidders choose.
The Seller is responsible for ONLY for the Health test requirements listed for the state that the animal sells to. That will be coordinated with the buyer and seller after the sale.
Trucking / shipping is the responsibility of the Buyer.
