The 54th Annual Kentucky National Show and Sale series is this weekend in Louisville, Ky. The Jersey show and sale will be Saturday, April 9 and 10:00 a.m. and noon, respectively.

A great line-up of all ages and pedigrees, representing cow families, genomics, type, show aged calves and production replacements are available.

Kentucky National Jerseys – In Pictures

The Kentucky National Jersey Show and Sale will take place on Saturday, April 9, 2016 in Louisville, Ky., at the KY Livestock and Expo Center. The show will begin at 10:00 a.m., with the sale to follow at noon.

About 53 consignments, of all ages, pedigree, type – production – genomic scales are represented. If you are interested in anything from a show age calf to replacements for your herd, we have it here!

The catalog can be found online and LIVE online bidding will be available through Jersey Auction Live.

Buckeye Classic Jersey Sale Highlights

BuckeyeTile2016The Buckeye Classic Spring Jersey Sale was held this evening in conjunction with the Ohio Spring Dairy Expo in Columbus, Ohio. Jersey Marketing Service was happy to co-manage this event with the Buckeye Dairy Club.

A total of 30 head went through the ring and with bidding help from the crowd and the internet, averaged $2,143. Buyers were from five different states, including Ohio, Michigan, Pennsylvania, Texas and Wisconsin. Internet bidders bought 17 head through JerseyAuctionLive.com.

Top Seller Lot 30Lot 30 was the top selling lot of the Buckeye Classic Spring Jersey Sale. She sold to Clear View Jerseys LLC from Orient, Ohio for $4,100. Lavon Farms Bailey was consigned by Lavon Farms, Emory, Texas.

Second Top - Lot 27Lot 27, Lavon Farms Eclipes 9791, also consigned by Lavon Farms, was the second high selling lot of the evening. Allyn Paulson, Juneau, Wis., purchased her for $4,000.
