Bids have been finalized for the Jersey Bid Online Semen Sale, Featuring “Antique” Semen. Over 40 different buyers purchased 155 Lots of semen for over $13,500. That includes a semen tank with inventory.
Thank you to all who bid and bought, all who consigned and ALL of you that had so much interest that it crashed our system! It was a great problem to have and we are glad you came back this week.
The JerseyBid online semen sale from last week needed to be expanded and repaired to handle the enthusiasm and number of bidders! We believe we have / will have worked out all the bugs so we can continue the sale’s final bidding this week.
The list of semen is below in both Excel and PDF formats for you to browse. Check the Jerseybid.com website for where the current bid stands on Wednesday morning.
258 Lots of Jersey semen from the “old days” are up for bid, along with one Semen Tank full of older young sire semen. By “old days,” we mean 1960’s born bulls up to early 2000’s and a lot in between! Take a look through the list and remember cows who made an impact from these sires, and bid on semen that might fit in your collection or your herd mating.
Transport and shipping of any semen is the buyer’s responsibility. Payment must be received before shipping will be allowed. JMS will contact buyers after the sale to arrange payment and discuss shipping options.
