20 lots were sold by starting their bids online on the Jersey Bid program earlier in the week. Bidding on that program ended at 4:30 tonight, with the bidding in the live auction starting where the online auction left off.

An embryo package sold to Wakker Dairy, Kewauneee, WI for $300 per embryo. They were from Billings Hallmark Melanie and out of Hometown Incentive-ET and Bridon Remake Comerica-ET and were consigned by Billings Farm & Museum, Woodstock, VT

More bred heifers and open heifers sold as individuals in the online auction, but most were sold as group lots of open and bred heifers, as well as a group of cows. The highest selling group lot was a group of 5 bred heifers, due in June, and consigned by Hi-Land Farm, Wyoming, NY. Kenneth Briggs, Campbellsville, KY purchased this lot for $2,625 each.

Davis Family Dairies, Nicollet, MN was the volume buyer, purchasing 21 head.

The entire sale of 82 lots averaged $1727.44
