The Northeast Jersey Classic and Breeders Sale can be summed up as a success. With a change of venue, a change of weekends, a hopeful change of weather and a change of format, great fellowship and cattle prices closed this weekend with a bang.
A total of 229 head went though two rings today for a total sale average of $1,577.31.
Today’s events started with 29 lot being lead through ring 1, with an average of $3,236. Eight lots sold for over $3,000, with the top two lots highlighted below.


Sold for $7,000 to Gerald and Diane Colvin of VT and was consigned by Dutch Hollow Farm, the Chittenden Family, NY
The commercial group of cattle moved swiftly though the ring, selling to buyers from CT, ME, MN, MO, NH, NY, OH, PA, VT, WA, and WI. Creek Bottom Farm was the high volume buyer of the day with a total of 70 head making the trip to PA. Jeff Adams, WA followed closely in the volume department with 58 head.
