Health testing is a large part of a JMS sale and a consignor’s responsibility, mostly used for interstate movement, but also for the health of the herd of the buyer. Below are two articles, published in the February 2014 Jersey Journal, highlighting the importance of the health tests and why we require each for the sales. We also have an article, published in the February 2014 Jersey Journal on the importance of having an Official Calfhood Vaccination (OCV) on your calves, especially from a marketing viewpoint.
