Ohio Spring Classic Sale – In Pictures

The Ohio Spring Classic Sale is shaping up to follow its long tradition of great genetics selling on Memorial Day. This year’s sale will be held in Wooster, Ohio at the Wayne County Fairgrounds on May 27, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. (EDT). There are just under 70 head of young calves up to mature cows (milking and dry). Show winning type, deep family pedigrees, 4-H projects and genomics are being offered, with the proverbial “something for everyone” represented!

CONSIGNMENTS ACCEPTED UNTIL MAY 14

To consign  SEMEN, please send

  • a complete listing of what bulls you have,
  • where the semen is housed,
  • how many units you would like to sell, and
  • if you would like to have a reserve price per straw.

To consign EMBRYOS you  must have

  • a recovery sheet to support the lot
  • a list of matings
  • how many embryos in the lot
  • what quality
  • if they are exportable and
  • where they are housed.
  • If you would like to list a reserve price per embryo, make that information clear as well.

  • NOTE: JMS DOES NOT HAVE TRANSPORT TANKS, so please know that YOU as the consignor will need to work with the buyer(s) to make shipping of semen or embryos available.
